Steps to success
So you want to use Futurist Online to design your website, eCommerce store or Content Management System.
So what now? Well we have a simple six stage process we go through to getting your site up and running - and involves a lot of coffee!
Discuss - we discuss with you, either over the phone, on Skype or in person, to establish your exact requirements, timescales to see if we can indeed help you achieve your vision of web perfection.
Consult - if you live within 50 miles of Glasgow, we can come and visit you and give you a free no obligation quote on what we think it will cost to get your vision to the internet. We will look at your domain name if you have one, your hosting requirements, discuss design, your inspirations and what you envision. This is your chance to tell us exactly what you want. We might even engage in conversation about the latest episodes of Lost or 24!
Control - we want you to know what we need from you, what we will be doing and what happens if things go wrong. No one likes contracts, so we have devised a simple, easy and unique set of terms & conditions that map out the costs, process of construction, payment terms and everything else you expect to find in a contract without going through all that small print.
Design - we will do a mock-up of your website in Photoshop and send you a PDF either by email or by snail mail so you can sign off on the design. At this stage, you can make alterations to design, color etc. Once you are happy with the design, we move on...
Code - now we work on the actual process of coding your website. Depending on what you have requested in the consult phase, this could take between one day and several weeks to code correctly. Once we have finished the coding, we need to make sure that your website works in all the major web browsers such as Internet Explorer 6, 7 & 8, Firefox and Safari.
Deliver - when everything is done, the coding complete, the testing is successful, the coffee has run out, we will deliver the final product to you over the information super highway aka. the internet! The we will unleash your product to the world!
